House Sitting Australia provides a platform to connect homeowners and sitters. We do not employ sitters, own properties, or act as an agent or broker for any party.

2. Due Diligence

Users are entirely responsible for interviewing, vetting, and requesting references from other members before agreeing to a sit or swap. You undertake any arrangement at your own risk.

3. Verification Badges

While we use third-party APIs (like Stripe Identity) to offer "Green Tick" verification, this is an identity check only. It is not a guarantee of character, competence, or safety.

4. No Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Colin Dixon / OzOnLine accepts no liability for property damage, theft, injury, pet illness, or cancellations resulting from a house sitting arrangement made through this platform. Our roots are proudly based in the East Gippsland and Mallacoota community, and we expect all users to uphold the same community-focused respect.
